Graeme Macrae Burnet is the author of four novels, The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau, His Bloody Project (shortlisted for the 2016 Man Booker Prize), The Accident on the A35 and Case Study which was longlisted for the Booker Prize.

Two of the country’s most interesting novelists join the festival for a lively discussion of their work, contemporary fiction and whatever else takes their fancy. A must-see event for fans of fiction that entertains yet challenges the reader.

 

Daniel James is an author and journalist from Newcastle. His debut novel, The Unauthorised Biography of Ezra Maas, critically acclaimed on its release, was recently published in a new special edition format by Valley Press. An arts and culture journalist for a decade, he left full-time journalism in 2011 to research and write the biography of enigmatic artist, Ezra Maas, who disappeared at the height of his fame.
